  Longevity of veneers depends on good habits. In order t o lengthen the life of veneers: - -         Avoid biting hard foods ( ice, crunchy foods, pistachio, nuts, chicken, apples, raw carrots, hard candy...), and refrain from chewing gum or other candies or foods that might stick to them—or even pull them out. -          Do not use your front teeth  to open sealed packages.
